What is Wireless Networking?
By Communique | August 12, 2010
As the word suggests itself wireless means anything that can be done without using cables or wires. So, wireless networking is the connecting process between two computers or any other network devices. It is basically associated with telecommunications in which the interconnection between nodes is implemented without the use of wires.
It is no magic, it is really simple rather. It is just that it uses radio waves and microwaves for communication between computers or any other network device. This technology is appreciated by all in market because there is no cabling involved. All you need is one wireless router or adapter to access it. Moreover, this technology sounds to be expensive but it is not. It is quite economic. But there are certain drawbacks also like the whole communication depends on radio waves that can go weak because of bad weather or any other obstruction.
